The School for Good Mothers - Jessamine Chan

The School for Good Mothers - Jessamine Chan

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Review: I can’t begin to say how much I loved this book! It absolutely broke my heart the whole way through but I couldn’t put it down. We meet Frida in the middle of her very bad day and follow along in horror at what unfolds throughout the book. Not too much I can say without spoilers but it’s definitely one to read! And it’s a timely commentary on what’s happening America in regard to controlling women’s bodies with regard to children. Absolutely loved it.

Synopsis: In this explosive debut novel, one lapse in judgment lands a young mother in a government reform program where custody of her child hangs in the balance.
